The following statement on Iran was published on June 22nd by radio hosts Phil Taylor and Robin Philpot on the Taylor Report.
The US has bombed Iran, just as they previously bombed Iraq and Libya.
Within days, perhaps hours, we may expect the White House to announce meetings with a willing coalition of Iranian political expats who will be described as a government in exile. The bombing will continue. Obama described the bombing and sanctions strategy as “degrading” the targeted country’s ability to resist. “Bleeding” would be another word.
Assassination of leaders is a component of the age-old method. It creates chaos, so as to open the path to regime-change.
Israel which was born under the tutelage of Western empires is a junior partner in the permanent project of dominating the Eastern Mediterranean, the Levant, from NATO Turkey to vassal Egypt. Syria has fallen, Lebanon is back under Western hegemony. Israel is a silent partner with 5-Eyes and a silent partner with NATO, Those who think otherwise are either confused or afraid to face the US led imperialist system.
In 1854 a US warship called “Levant” sailed up to the Ottoman port city of Jaffa and threatened to bombard the city unless the Arabs stopped harassing settlements of Christian millennials. The Christians were seeking to accelerate the return of Christ (the End of Days) by attracting Jewish settlers to join them and become farmers. The Christians were from America, England, and Prussia. The US temporarily got their way and they also passed out guns to the settlers. Missionary projects are among the oldest weapons of rapacious empires. American author John Steinbeck’s grandfather was one of the leaders of the Prussian millennials.
Until the imperial order is defeated and a world order recognizing the equal sovereignty and integrity of states is established, as declared in the UN Charter our fate is bloody repression and resistance.

Most important to remember/understand: The Iran bombing is part of the preliminaries before the main event, the desperate drive by the US and its imperialist allies to eliminate its economic/military peers Russia and China who so far have held out against military and economic efforts to destroy them. What the song calls “the final conflict.”
There were headlines on Friday, June the 20th, Pakistan declaring solidarity with Iran, leading to huzzahs of gratitude from various quarters. However it was learned that on the same day Pakistan’s top general was visiting the White House and invited Trump to visit Pakistan.to celebrate “the most important turning point in the 78 year history of relations…” US bombs were falling on Iran.
Russia’s Presidential spokesperson Peskov said recently Russia was opposed to US / Israeli talk of assassinating Iran’s Supreme Leader, Khamanei saying such action would worsen matters and likely lead to more “extremist” leaders emerging. Not a happy choice of words. Where is the extremism in not bowing to an imperial power bent on regime-change.
There is a time-honored and appropriate slogan: Cast aside illusions and prepared for struggle!
