Protest Makes a Difference

Saturday, 2:00 P.M., U.S Consulate in Toronto

Demonstration in London

Demonstrators barricade Whitehall in London, U.K.

In London, demonstrators barricaded Whitehall on Wednesday, showing their opposition to a war being planned without their consent.

These 1,000 protestors helped show the politicians how little support for war existed among the public.

The U.K. government had to pull away from an immediate vote on the war.

One day later, it
voted not to launch a war without proceeding through the United Nations.

We now face the same situation in Canada, as Harper attempts to
evade a direct discussion.

U.K. protestors have slowed the drive to war. You can too!
