PI of Teaching Palestine: Pedagogical Praxis and the Indivisibility of Justice. Dr.Abdulhadi continues to resist ongoing Zionist attacks aimed at shuttng down her Teaching Palestine program.
Mona Ghassemi Mona (they/them) is a first generation Iranian-Canadian raised and based in Montreal. They currently serve as President of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Canadian Congress (ICC), where they support civic participation, community advocacy, and dialogue within the Iranian-Canadian community. Previously, as Vice President, they were one of the organization’s official representatives to Canada’s 2023 Public Inquiry Into Foreign Interference, advocating in Ottawa for the rights and dignity of Iranian-Canadians.
Ali Mallahanti-war and community activist, who served on the National Steering Committee of the former Canadian Peace Alliance, the coordinating committee of the Toronto Coalition to Stop the War, and as board member of the Centre for Social Justice. Ali is also a union activist (CUPE), former Vice-President of the Canadian Arab Federation, and member of the Board of Directors of Alternatives Canada, Urban Alliance on Race Relations, and the Anti-Racism Task force.
Zafar Bangash – Director of the Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought and author of several books. For four decades, he has been on the editorial board of Crescent International, a Canadian magazine that specializes in Iranian and Middle East affairs. He has visited Iran many times including the war front during the Iraq-Iran war and was the first to report on Iraq’s use of chemical weapons. He served on the Steering Committee of the Canadian Peace Alliance
