Cuba spoke on behalf of 53 countries to deliver a joint statement on non-interference in the affairs of sovereign states. In asserting sovereignty in Hong Kong, China is fulfilling its responsibility as a state to ensure stability during a time of foreign interference. It is evident that many countries support China’s position. It is the West’s gang that opposes China’s actions.
Those who talk about ‘democracy for Hong Kong’ forget that HK had no democracy during the entire period of white colonial rule. The entire nation-state of China now needs stability and security in order to become modern and advanced. Our Canadian politicians have further clarified the issue for us: Canada has to play along with whatever the U.S. wants on China.
