A gathering of Jewish, Muslim, peace, and anti-racism activists in our community have organized a protest to ‘welcome’ Thornhill MP Melissa Lantsman to Hamilton on Jan 19.
Lantsman has been a very vocal supporter of Israel’s illegal bombing campaign and assault on Gaza, which has been condemned by many international humanitarian organizations, and is the subject of many investigations.
Lantsman has also called for the suppression of free speech in Canada, targeting those activists who have vocally called for respecting humanitarian norms, and international law.
