According to SPHR McMaster:

 

“With the rise of false media and propaganda, it’s more important than ever to have a solid understanding of Palestinian history.

Join us on November 28th in BSB 119 [Burke Science Building, Room 119] for a vibrant and educational Teach-In.

Our night will be hosted by Kevin Mackay of Hamilton Coalition to Stop the War, Rabbi David Mivasair of Independent Jewish Voices and Mehreen Shami, M.A global politics with UNRWA experience. Bring a friend or two and enjoy the complimentary snacks as you deep dive into Palestinian history.

We will discuss the historical context of Palestine, the realities of occupation, and international and legal framework of Israel’s occupation and crimes.

Pins, stickers and cards will be sold and all proceeds will be donated to Gaza.

In solidarity and unity, and always until liberation.”
