Phil Taylor comments on the Green Party executive’s persecution of Quebec Green Party leader Alex Tyrrell. The executive says that Alex Tyrrell ‘brings the party into disrepute.’ But he actually brings the Green Party into repute. For example, he supported General Motors Oshawa workers who were facing plant closure. Just one example of him developing credibility with a community.
But the executive isn’t serious. They accuse Tyrrell of supporting “Putin,” themselves using the grade-school terminology of our leaders and media. Isn’t the Green Party, by its nature, supposed to be out-of-step with the establishment? What happened?
